Problems and Potential

Like every city in the world, Birmingham has both problems and potential. God's plan for his people is to address both. As salt and light in this city, Jesus intends for us to address the problems and pursue the potential. Which is why He instructs us to pray every day that His Kingdom would come and His will would be done in Birmingham as it is in heaven.

SO HOW DOES THAT HAPPEN?

It happens when God's people stop spotting the specks in our neighbor's eyes and start removing the planks in our own. We do this by allowing Christ to reign in our hearts, lead us into community, and use us to change our city for the better.
